Just as I predicted, SotInvest has finally bit the dust after several weeks online. The promotions offered were so ludicrous to the point that they were offering 1000% per day! That was a very big red flag signaling the site was facing one of either two problems:
1) Severe cashflow problem
2) The admin wants to suck in more money before executing his escape
I think the latter would be accurate to describe the situation. For those who lost, it isn't time to despair. We are in a HYIP-crisis right now, with almost every single program launched in the past 2 months collapsing or scamming after several days. I know there are some people relying on this industry to make a living, but for those who aren't, and perhaps even for some who are, please keep your money in your pocket for the moment and choose really, really, really carefully. I think the game has shifted its pace, and how we respond to that change will be crucial in determining where our money ends up. Quoting the famous poet, Maya Angelou, "If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain."
FinitInvest sent out its first newsletter today congratulating the site itself and the members for the support given. The admin also announced a promotion of a $10 prize for the first 3 posters with the highest number of posts by the end of the week. Here's the newsletter:

GoldNuggetInvest seems to be in the process of refunding right now, and as of this writing, the admin announced that over 500+ refunds have been processed. I myself haven't requested the refund yet as I've been very busy both on- and off-line. Therefore I'm unable to verify the validity of the admin, Robert's statement. For those of you who have received a refund from GNI, please leave a comment on my ShoutBox or you can email me as well by clicking on the top left corner of this page. Besides that, the admin announced also that the new GNI (private) will be opened to serious investors only, and that meant investments in the upwards of $1,000. That is no small amount, and whether or not it will attract any investors remains to be seen. At the time of this writing we are at a bit over 500 Refund Applications completed. I spoke with Todd who advised me we are able to process up to 100 per day, but Debbie and he are receiving upwards of 80 emails PER DAY requesting status of their particular refund.
To provide the status of any given ticket takes, in terms of total time spent, the amount of time it takes to process two refund applications. This means they could, at this point be over 1100 applications processed.
I urge all Applicants to PLEASE refrain from sending these emails. They are compelled to answer the emails before working the refund applications. Further, nobody receives refunds sooner because their Application was submitted and processed before the next person. As they near the end of the process, they will put out a call to members with a date through which refund applications have (had) been processed. Nobody needs to be concerned.
The New Program:
We have completed a Narrative detailing our new project. It is our intention to keep this program and process absolutely private.

TridentVentures, launched just 2 days ago faced some severe rounds of criticism in forums for incorrect payouts. Seems like there were some issues with the script (which is a Goldcoders' licensed script), which forced the admin to process the payouts manually. Nonetheless, it seems the admin didn't do a good job at it, leaving out several members, myself included, for a few hours without payment. Without a doubt, however, that the admin resolved the issue as quickly as possible, and I have successfully received my first payout from TridentVentures today. Kudos!
XZFinance is slowly, but surely, establishing itself as the next Big Thing, as far as short-term investment programs go. XZFinance was previously hosted on Blacklotus, but recently the site switched over to BlockDos, which is one of the best Ddos protection service companies in the industry. A month of service costs at least $1000, and that alone is quite a feat worth mentioning. I have increased my investment with this program to $200, hopefully it'll be a profitable run.
WaterInvestment continues to improve on a regular basis as they have just introduced the option of withdrawing and depositing via bank wire.
