8 April 2010 - UmbaFund Review

**Promotion 80% Referral Cash Back**

Hello guys! Today I would like to review a short-term high roi program that seems promising and perhaps will ring in a decent profit for you as well. The program's now 5 days online, and already the admin has purchased a sticky thread on MoneyMakerGroup forum. While that may not guarantee that the program will last long, it does at the very least indicate that the site has deep reserves to promote and the admin is serious in getting his/her program out there. Without further ado, let's introduce today's main character: UmbaFund!

UmbaFund

UmbaFund, as stated on the banner above, pays up to 25% daily for 15 days. But the actual payment plans on offer are separated into 4 different plans, namely:
  1. Plan 1: 15% Daily for 15 days Min:$1 Max: $Unlimited
  2. Plan 2: 20% Daily for 15 days Min:$2501 Max: $Unlimited
  3. Plan 3 : 25% Daily for 15 days Min:$5001 Max: $Unlimited
  4. Plan 10: 200% After 7 days Min:$20 Max:$Unlimited

  5. As some of you might have noticed, the forth plan is called "Plan 10" instead of "Plan 4". Wonder what happened to the 6 plans in between..Lol.

But anyway, back to the review. The first three plans pay out on a daily basis, while the forth plan pays out upon maturity of your investment. Note that as UmbaFund does not have a script, payouts will be sent directly to the e-currency account you deposited from. The time of payment is set at about 7.20pm (GMT -8). The minimum to invest in Plan 1 is merely $1, and this will translate into more deposits going into Plan 1 than any of the other 3 plans. The 2nd and 3rd plan are definitely seeing fewer investors as it would set you back $2,501 to get into Plan 2; whereas Plan 3 will set you back $5,001. For Plan 10, however, I think it will be quite popular as well because there are a number, albeit a small number at that, of risk-loving investors who would expect the program to at least run for more than a week judging from its current performance. Note that the statistics on UmbaFund's front page reports that the total deposit amounts to $206,000+ after just 4 days online along with 1200+ members. Now that's a very, very impressive statistics if it is true. I came to find out that the statistics are easily manipulated from the admin's back office, so please do not place too much emphasis on the site's stats; they can be deceiving at times.

UmbaFund has a simple design which is clearly focused on its primary business model: a ponzi. In my humble opinion, not a single company in this world is capable of promising a daily return rate of 1.2% for 5 days a week. To be honest, any experienced investor who reads, or even has read, the Wall Street Journal will tell you that any investment that promises 1.2% interest return a day or even 0.8% interest return per day is plausibly a ponzi prospect. Nonetheless, UmbaFund seems like the typical HYIP program that places heavy emphasis on quick payouts, high returns and large deposit — no fine print, no strings attached. In my opinion, it's the ultimate money game.

UmbaFund does not have a specific script installed, therefore reducing the hassle of logging in for members. Some claim that a no-script site is better suited for HYIPs these days for the very reason that no script means no back office! And having no back office means hackers do not have anything to hack into, which translates into a safer investing environment rid of hackers. Recently many programs collapsed due to claims of prevalent hack activities online. Two of such programs are BJ-Investment and Harmonic Market, both of which seemed like promising sites that could offer an actual opportunity for everyone to earn. For those who lost with these two programs, you have my heartfelt condolence. Perhaps UmbaFund will make up for the loss you incurred? :)

UmbaFund is hosted on a dedicated server by BlackLotus, a fairly popular hosting server in the industry. I have not personally engaged in a conversation with the technical team at BlackLotus, therefore I do not know much about how safe their Ddos-protection service is. If it is of any consolation, however, I do know that BlackLotus was one of the most popular hosting servers in the industry several years ago. Nonetheless, I believe BlackLotus is fully capable of handling low-to-mild Ddos-attacks without any problems.

UmbaFund currently accepts only one form of payment: LibertyReserve. If you do not have a LibertyReserve account yet, you can set 1 up easily by clicking on this link and follow through with the steps provided. UmbaFund offers a highly lucrative referral commission for each referral you refer: a whopping 10%! If you invest $100 in Plan 1 and you refer 10 people who invest $100 each, you would be receiving 325% in total profit (including your principal). For a limited time only, UmbaFund is offering 10% extra bonus to your deposit if you invest more than $500. The bonus will be credited directly to your deposit. This promotion will only last for the month of April. (I doubt that it will last any longer than that anyway)
Before I end this review, I would like to remind you that Greed, if left unmanned, often consumes your mind. So please do not invest blindly — do your own due diligence, such as reading forums and blog reviews, plan your investment goals properly, consult some of the senior investors prior to investing, and you should be well on your way to making a decent profit from this money game.

    Until then, see you guys!
