14 February 2010 - TerryFunds Review and Other News

NOT PAYING ANYMORE

Hi guys! I wonder if you guys have noticed that I've been reviewing a lot more long term low-roi HYIP programs recently? Well, that's because I've embarking on a switch to lower risk and subsequently, safer programs. Of course, it's a long shot from saying any HYIP is safe, but at least there's an attempt at it :p Besides, there just aren't that many high quality high ROI short-term programs that are worth recommending. I'm sure many people are still skeptical when it comes to investing in high paying programs after a slew of scams last December and January.

Nonetheless, today's review is strived to introduce something different, something that will at least prove that there is hope for these high return programs. TerryFunds, a new high ROI hyip that was just launched about 2 days ago, looks average on first glance, but packs quite a punch if you look closer. TerryFunds is hosted by Staminus, which is one of the best in the industry by any standards. It is also on a dedicated server, and the script is licensed from Goldcoders. Goldcoders has been the standard script in the HYIP industry for quite some time now, and I'm sure everything happens for a good reason, which in this case, doesn't seem to be an exception as well. In fact, concerns about security flaws with Goldcoders' scripts have been addressed in the new, improved scripts. Sites like Macroreturns are using the latest scripts, and you'll notice there are better script features such as IP security and Browser security built in already.

What's a high ROI HYIP without the all-alluring payment plans right? TerryFunds offers 3 payment plans, but each with subcategories.

Here's the complete list of payment plans:
    125% After 7 days
  • Starter Plan $10 - $100 120.00

  • Pro Plan $101 - $1,000 123.00

  • Maxi Plan $1,001 - $3,000 125.00

  • 140% After 10 days
  • Starter Plan $10 - $100 135.00

  • Pro Plan $101 - $1,000 137.00

  • Maxi Plan $1,001 - $5,000 140.00

  • 175% After 15 days
  • Starter Plan $10 - $100 165.00

  • Pro Plan $101 - $1,000 167.00

  • Maxi Plan $1,001 - $5,000 170.00

  • Executive Plan $5,001 - $10,000 175.00

As you can see from the list above, the names of the respective plans are quite misleading. You can't earn 125% just by investing $100. You'd have to invest a minimum of $1001 to get into Maxi Plan, which will then pay you 125% after 7 days. A $100 deposit will make you 120%, or $120 in this case, richer with your principal already included. Note that all plans pay upon maturity, and there are no daily payouts. To cushion the discomfort many might have about the idea of pay upon expiry, each plan is surprisingly very affordable. Note that each plan starts with a minimum of $10 only, and even if it's not a 140% after 10 days for the second plan, you can still make a decent 135% after 10 days. A
very decent profit, as a matter of fact.

Payment processors accepted are AP, LR, PM, STP and SP. Flexibility is no issue here, and the site just seems so well-prepared. A strong, flexible list of payment processors accepted is one thing; but a robust and highly aggressive advertising campaign is what took me by surprise. On first glance,
Terryfunds seems like any other ordinary HYIP with an attractive payment plan and nothing else to back it up. However, I started seeing Terryfunds' banners splashed all over MMG and TG today, which indicates the admin's intent on revving up his site in the most effective way available. And what other better ways than to advertise on the nests where all prospective investors patrol regularly in search of the most profitable programs out there?

My take:
TerryFunds either has a deep reserve of funds that allow them to undertake such an agressive advertising campaign, or they're taking a huge risk here in hopes of gaining enough investors to keep them running for a long time. Either way, TerryFunds seems to be a good one after quite a long time, and maybe, just maybe, this one will last long enough for everyone to walk away with more coins in their pockets than when they did coming in. As always, identify your investment goals, and invest accordingly. Not a smart idea to put all your eggs in one basket, fellow investors!

Oh and one more thing to note, I've noticed that some fresh investors (neophytes :p) tend to have this mindset: "I will invest all my funds in this short-term high paying program for 1 cycle, and 1 cycle only. I'll have enough by then, and I can throw everything into a long-term program." Well, nice thinking there, but how many times have we heard of incidences where things don't go as planned, and the investors lose all their hard earned money? Always be careful guys, you never know which programs are going to last. The term, "at least", followed by "one cycle", or "one week", is a big taboo in this industry. SO play wise, and I hope we all win :D

BostonVenturesBillionairesClub (whew, quite a mouthful) has sent out another newsletter today regarding their latest promotion. This one's offering 10% ref commission for the next 30 days, and the rational is that rather than spending that same amount on promotion, the admin would rather let the members recruit new members and let the money flow within the circle. Here's the newsletter:
Hello Dear Members,

We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the Chinese New years and Valentines Day\'s.

A few decissons were made about how we will effectively promote our memebrship base.

I hope to hear some feed back from your selfs in the form of support tickets.

What we have decided is to have a refferal drive for the next 30 days, giving 10% ref com per deposit.

Considering the amount of money involved in advertising, persay having stikies in one forum for example will

cost any where around $1500 to $2000 per month. Most programs are having them in 5 or six forums.

This is a great benefit to the program owners, but what we have decided is instead of this lets give this

advertising budget to the members. They are the life line of our advertising. If you are happy you will tell 10 people.

These people if they do join will do the same. It might be old school but nevertheless the money stays with us in the family.

This will last for 30 days and if it does prove effective then we might just leave it in place.

We can justify giving our members the perks as it will not cost the program any adverse effects, the profits which will go to us,

the program owners will be what gets skimmed. We do not mind this as any business that is starting has to go through a teething phase.

All hyip monitors and people who regularly post on the forums, if you can, pealse be kind enough to spread this on all active forums your in.

Thanking you and Best wishes

Todd S. Admin

Basebucks, a program I joined few days ago, keeps sending latest updates and promotions to my inbox! Truthfully, as much as I like admins who update their members about latest news, it's starting to bug me :p But today's newsletter is definitely worth the time, because it's about the admin's decision on how to invest the members' money. Here's the newsletter:
Hello safemoneyinvest,

We've just launched something new! The experimental fund: http://www.basebucks.net/experimental
