26 December 2009 - CommonSenseInvest Review and Other News

How was your Christmas? I had a blast, and I hope you guys out there enjoyed your Christmas too~ I've been catching up on some latest news, and today I've something interesting to present. I hope you guys like it :D

And now back to business once more, as I bring to you a new low-ROI HYIP called CommonSenseInvest, which just started a few days ago, and now has started to promote itself in forums. CommonSenseInvest is a basic-looking program with a sustainable payment program and a unique concept that I think will attract attention in the long run. Right now, CommonSenseInvest is still growing slow and steady, with the number of investors on the slow climb but of which should see some progressive growth after the New Year.

Moving to the payment plans, CommonSenseInvest offers 3 different types of plans. The first is a 30-day plan, called 30D Invest, which sub-categorizes into 3 levels. 30D Invest Basic offers 1% per day for 30 days, and that means 7 days a week for 30 days. The minimum to invest is $10, and the maximum is capped at $99.99. 30D Invest Advanced starts off at $100, and caps at $299.99, and this one pays 1.2% daily for 30 days. The next would be 30D Invest Expert, which starts off at $300 and caps at $2500, and this plan pays 1.5% for 30 days.

And that's just the 1st plan.

The 2nd plan is called 120D Invest, which is basically a 120-day plan. This one sub-categorizes into 3 levels as well, namely (the same) Basic, Advanced and Expert. 120D Basic offers 1.5% daily for 120 days, with the minimum starting at $10, and caps at $99.99. 120D Advanced offers a higher return, which is 1.8% daily with a minimum of $100, and a maximum deposit of $299.99. And the most lucrative is 120D Expert plan, which offers 2% daily for 120 days and has a minimum of $300, with a cap at $2500.

There is another called Variable Plan, which is something ambiguous and I guess this one pays a variable interest rate each day.The minimum to invest is $10, and the maximum is $2500 -- the same as the previous two plans. This one runs for 40 days, and has a variable daily return of 1% to 3%.
Edit: This one pays a minimum of 1% each business day, with a ranging interest from 1% to 3%. It depends on the program's profit for the day. At the end of the week, there will be a special weekend bonus paid out. And this happens each week.

As in all the payment plans, your principal will be returned upon maturity.

The admin, David Strauss, has been actively participating with the members in MMG forum, and he replies to Customer Support inquiries in a timely fashion. I submitted a few questions regarding the payment plans, and he answered my questions within 24 hours, which is a very positive aspect as I submitted the inquiry the day prior to Christmas. And as you all know, many programs decided to take a day off on Christmas, and for the admin to reply my inquiry on Christmas really showed his attentiveness towards the program. Kudos! And I think that's a very important factor for investors as they would like to always like to see interaction between admin and investor.

There has been some not-too-heavy promotion campaigns going on for CommonSenseInvest, and that's a positive sign. Why? Because this shows the admin does not spend unnecessarily on promotions. This keeps the administration costs to the minimum, and allows more profit to flow towards the members. Thus far, there are 28 active accounts, $181 in total deposits and $70 paid out. This is a statistics provided on the main page of CommonsenseInvest. Although many would argue such a slow growing stats discredits the site's potential, I beg to differ. Look at previous programs such as WiredMoney that invested ludicrous amount of money on advertising, and although the sudden explosion of membership sign-ups proved to be fruitful for the admin's dangerous undertaking, WiredMoney closed down prior to the completion of first cycle.

There are only 2 payment processors accepted right now, namely LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney. It's easy to deposit and withdraw via LR, but not so with PerfectMoney. There's a detailed step-by-step guide on the site for investors intending to use PM. Here's a peek at the "Depositing Money" section of guide:

1. In order to invest into any of our programs in CommonSense Invest, you will need to make sure that your PerfectMoney's account ID in your user settings is either empty or filled up with its MEMBER ID.

2. If you have made a withdrawal before, chances are it is now shown your USD account number, which starts with a "U". All you need to do is delete that information and leave the field empty. Alternatively, you can fill it up with its MEMBER ID.

3. Click on "DEPOSIT" and choose the program you want to invest in.

4. There will be reminders along the way to ensure that you fill up the right account ID. Please bear with them if you're already familiar.

5. You will eventually be directed to PerfectMoney's secured website to complete the transaction. Just follow their instructions.

6. If you have changed your PerfectMoney's account ID to its MEMBER ID, we encourage that you make it a good habit to change it to its USD account number and leave it as default. The reason is that this will convenient your withdrawals later on. You only need to change it back to your MEMBER ID (or leave the field empty) when you're depositing. However, this is optional since we've programmed pop-up alerts to remind you to change the account ID again when you request for a withdrawal.

The admin takes a very positive approach towards HYIP, in that he doesn't believe in short-term High ROI Hyips. Hence the name, "Commonsense". He further utilizes that in his main page introduction, and even when he replies the support ticket, he emphasizes the idea of "common sense" such that we should not believe in short-term High ROI Hyips because it is just common sense that they can't possibly afford to pay such high returns for a long time! Nonetheless, the main business model that CommonSenseInvest focuses on is not specified on the page, but it does mention various business ventures, one of such is forex trading. Therefore, please recognize your investment goals and play the game according to your goals.

Lastly,
CommonSenseInvest has a normal, basic script with no specific DDos attack prevention in place nor a dedicated hosting server. That's something I'd like to see improved in the future.
Edit: Even though the admin doesn't have a commercial dedicated server, he bought 2 IP addresses: 69.42.214.139 and 69.42.214.140. That's their own host, and they're on their own VPS server, protected by Awknet.

I'm quoting the admin's response to this issue:
And to prove that the ip is ours, go to http://69.42.214.139/~commonse/. What happens is we bought our own DDOS protected VPS, named it "commonsenseinv.com" and use it as our nameservers ns1.commonsenseinv.com and ns2.commonsenseinv.com. We go to great extend to keep server control on our side, which explains why we host it that way -- rather than buy some shared hosting which claims to be ddos protected but cannot prove it! Commonsenseinv.com also automatically forwards to Commonsenseinvest.net, so people should not be confused.

In conclusion,
CommonSenseInvest is a good program that deserves some attention, and I am very interested to see how far this one goes. Although it still has long ways to go to be in the same league as GeniusFunds, I wouldn't say it doesn't have a chance.

Other News:

CashItsInstant currently has some pending AlertPay payments that are not settled, although I did get my LR payouts on time today. The admin has sent out a newsletter clarifying the issues with the system, and will seek to fix it by the end of the day. I've been checking on the status of the payouts, and indeed, after the newsletter, I've seen many more AlertPay payouts being processed. There's one thing that worries me: reserve funds. Following yesterday's incident with pending payouts, the total amount that has been withdrawn is slightly inflated because there are still payouts not processed. Nonetheless, the total deposits still reflects the actual deposits being made. I would recommend proceed with caution. Here's the newsletter:
Hi and although I had planned on being away until Sunday I see my attention is needed in the site as the last few days the alertpay spends have not been showing on the site for some reason they have been hit and mis, why I dont know but we are fixing it right now.

All spends the rest of the day will be given a free upgraded downline member plus a 10% instant cash rebate plus 1000 credits

Liberty Reserve spends have been working and if you make a spend using LR you get double.

Unfortunately, as what I've predicted,
CashTanker is officially gone as the site is down right now and no one had/has received their payouts. The admin, Sam Serino is truly despicable as he used the name of God in order to squander a few dirty pennies. This is a disgrace, and he should NOT have used such a strategy to earn money.

That's all for today's updates guys!! I hope tomorrow I will bring forth the interview with CedexInvest!
